The Castillo de Almansa Reserva is made from 70 per-cent Tempranillo and 30 per-cent Monastrol grapes and matured in American oak casks for 12 months and then 10 months in bottle.
Nose :deep, intense, seductive, damson plums, red peppers, herbs and cassis nose.
Palate : rich, velvety softness, concentrated crushed blackcurrant and wild berry fruit, cassis, black pepper fill the palate, balancing well with the tannins and leaving an enduring, delicious and lengthy aftertaste
